Fraser Clark (Kent, ENG) finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Clark defeated Ian Gasson (Kent, ENG) 7-4, then won 10-6 against Andrew Reed (Kent, ENG) and 9-0 against Owen Rees (Kent, ENG). Clark won 8-7 against Richard Hills (Kent, ENG).
