Andrew Reed (Kent, ENG) finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Reed lost 10-6 to Fraser Clark (Kent, ENG), then responded with a 9-5 win over Richard Cooper (Preston, ENG). Reed won 7-2 against Owen Rees (Kent, ENG). Reed went on to lose 6-3 against Rob Retchless (Kent, ENG). Reed responded with a 8-4 win over Richard Hills (Kent, ENG). Reed won 8-4 against Ian Gasson (Kent, ENG) in their final qualifying round match.

Reed earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Reed did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Reed ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
