Colton Olafson (Portage La Prarie, MB) finished 3-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Olafson defeated Ethan Marshall (Brandon, MB) 9-2, then went on to lose 10-2 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Olafson lost 9-4 to Colin Desaulniers (Winnipeg, MB) where Olafson responded with a 6-5 win over Marshall. Olafson won 8-7 against Tanner Graham (Winnipeg, MB). Olafson went on to lose 9-8 against Zach Norris (Morris, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Olafson earned 0.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Olafson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
