Hayward finished 3-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hayward defeated Gina Giasson (Killarney, MB) 10-4, then won 8-5 against Emily Cherwinski (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-3 against Bethany Allan (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Manitoba U21 Junior Provincial Championships Championship title, Hayward earned 3.750 world rankings points.
