Peterson finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB) 7-4, then went on to lose 10-5 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). Peterson lost 5-4 to Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) where Peterson responded with a 9-3 win over Cameron. Peterson won 7-2 against Skrlik in their final qualifying round match.
