Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) 7-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB). Tirinzoni responded with a 5-3 win over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Tirinzoni went on to lose 6-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Tirinzoni earned 7.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Tirinzoni did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 2nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 438.375 total points. Tirinzoni ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 221.250 points earned so far this season.
