To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 7-5 over Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2025 WFG Masters in Guelph, Ontario; and won 7-4 over Marc Muskatewitz (Fuessen, GER) in the quarterfinals.

Jacobs finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated John Epping (Sudbury, NO) 5-3, then won 10-4 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) and 7-4 against Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK). Jacobs won 7-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the WFG Masters, Jacobs take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $34,000CDN prize.
