Guentzel won 8-5 against Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND). Guentzel went on to lose 8-1 against Caiden Rose (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.

Guentzel earned 2.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Curling Junior National Championships, moving up 137 spots the World Ranking Standings into 295th place overall with 2.875 total points.
