Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) finished 1-4 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deane lost 6-4 to Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC), droppimg another game, 8-1 to Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) where Deane responded with a 8-3 win over Takumi Maeda (Tokoro, JPN). Deane went on to lose 7-2 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). Deane lost 7-5 to Evan Van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Deane earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 13 of the event schedule, Deane did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Deane ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
