Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) qualified for the 2024 Abbotsford Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Shinya Abe (Sapporo, JPN).

Deane finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deane defeated Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) 8-4, then went on to lose 5-4 against Abe. Deane responded with a 6-3 win over Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC). Deane went on to lose 8-3 against Brent Pierce (New Westminister, BC). Deane responded with a 6-1 win over Brad Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Deane earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Abbotsford Curling Classic, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 83rd place overall with 35.874 total points. Deane ranks 85th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.313 points earned so far this season.
