To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 6-5 over Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 RBC Dominion Securities Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 9-3 over Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 RBC Dominion Securities Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Jacobs finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) 6-0, then went on to lose 11-2 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Jacobs responded with a 5-3 win over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). Jacobs won 8-1 against Brent Pierce (New Westminister, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
