To advance to the championship game, Black won 6-4 over Fay Henderson (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2024 Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada;
 
Black finished 5-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Black defeated Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS) 10-2, then won 5-1 against Sarah Mallais (Moncton, NB) and 8-7 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Whitby, ON). Black won 6-1 against Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB), then won 6-3 against Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic, Black take home 22.000 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. For week 14 of the event schedule, Black did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Black ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
