Advancing directly to the semifinals, de Jong won 6-2 over Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) to advance to the championship game. of the 2024 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;
 
de Jong finished 4-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, de Jong defeated David Loken (White Rock, BC) 8-1, then won 7-5 against Deane and 5-3 against Montgomery. de Jong won 7-4 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the King Cash Spiel, de Jong take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize.
