Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) won 6-2 over Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the King Cash Spiel, held October 17 - 20, 2024 at the Golden Ears Curling Club in Maple Ridge, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Montgomery won 6-4 over Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) in the semifinals of the 2024 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada; and won 7-2 over Glenn Venance (Penticton, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Montgomery finished 4-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Montgomery defeated Brad Thompson (Kamloops, BC) 7-4, then won 5-4 against Venance. Montgomery went on to lose 5-3 against de Jong. Montgomery responded with a 5-3 win over Jeff Guignard (Vancouver, BC). Montgomery won 5-3 against Connor Deane (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the King Cash Spiel Championship title, Montgomery earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Montgomery did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Montgomery ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
