Steph Jackson-Baier (Victoria, BC) lost 9-4 to Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the Island Shootout, held November 7 - 11, 2024 at the Victoria Curling Club in Victoria, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jackson-Baier won 6-2 over Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) in the semifinals of the 2024 Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Jackson-Baier finished 3-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jackson-Baier lost 7-5 to Reese-Hansen, then responded with a 9-4 win over Woodward (Victoria, BC). Jackson-Baier won 9-0 against Mahra Harris (Victoria, BC), then won 7-6 against Ryan in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Island Shootout, Jackson-Baier take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 15 of the event schedule, Jackson-Baier did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jackson-Baier ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
