Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-4 over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the DEKALB Superspiel, held November 21 - 24, 2024 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Calvert won 6-5 over Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 4-1 over Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;

Calvert finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert defeated Marcus Titchkosky (Morden, MB) 7-4, then went on to lose 6-5 against Jace Freeman (Virden, MB). Calvert responded with a 7-2 win over Wesley Wendling (Chaska, MN). Calvert won 6-1 against Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the DEKALB Superspiel Championship title, Calvert earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 17 of the event schedule, Calvert did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Calvert ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
