Abby Whitbread (Lacombe, AB) finished 4-4 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whitbread defeated Irelande McMahon (Calgary, AB) 8-7, then won 8-3 against Kaylin Young (Edmonton, AB) and 8-3 against Myla Plett (Airdrie, AB). Whitbread went on to lose 6-4 against Emma Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB). Whitbread responded with a 8-7 win over Shianna Lind (Edmonton, AB). Whitbread went on to lose 11-8 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB). Whitbread lost 9-3 to Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB). Whitbread lost 10-4 to Grace Beaudry (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Whitbread earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 33 of the event schedule, Whitbread did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
