To advance to the championship game, Marin won 5-4 over Terren Algot (Sherwood Park, AB) in the semifinals of the 2024 Curling Alberta U20 Provincials in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada;
Marin finished 5-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marin defeated Nolan Duncan (Calgary, AB) 9-6, then went on to lose 8-6 against Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB). Marin responded with a 8-5 win over Lowell Whittmire (Castor, AB). Marin won 10-7 against Kinley Burton (St. Albert, AB), then won 8-5 against Peter Hlushak (Edmonton, AB) and 8-7 against Ben Kiist (Edmonton, AB). Marin went on to lose 8-2 against Wipf. Marin lost 5-3 to Algot in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Curling Alberta U20 Provincials, Marin take home 2.750 world rankings points, moving up 338 spots the World Ranking Standings into 292nd place overall with 2.750 total points. Marin ranks 299th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.750 points earned so far this season.
