Wipf finished 7-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wipf defeated MacIsaac 7-6, then won 9-8 against Kibo Mulima (Guelph, ON) and 7-6 against Ian Deschene (Sudbury, NO). Wipf won 8-4 against Jack MacFayden (Summerside, PEI). Wipf went on to lose 8-3 against Freeman. Wipf responded with a 10-3 win over Alex Duncan-Wu (Salmon Arm, BC). Wipf won 9-5 against Timothy Marin (Sherwood Park, AB), then won 9-2 against Brendan Rajala (Sudbury, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the New Holland Canadian Junior Championships Championship title, Wipf earned 7.500 world rankings points, moving up 42 spots the World Ranking Standings into 130th place overall with 16.688 total points. Wipf ranks 130th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.688 points earned so far this season.
