Duncan-Wu went on to lose 8-7 against Brendan Rajala (Sudbury, NO). Duncan-Wu lost 10-3 to Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) where Duncan-Wu responded with a 10-9 win over Timothy Marin (Sherwood Park, AB). Duncan-Wu won 10-5 against Jack MacFayden (Summerside, PEI). Duncan-Wu went on to lose 8-5 against Calan MacIsaac (Truro, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Duncan-Wu earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 36 of the event schedule, Duncan-Wu did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
