Pederson lost 6-5 to Doug Morris (Schomberg, ON) where Pederson responded with a 9-8 win over Chris Rees (Toronto, ON). Pederson went on to lose 10-7 against Cecilia Carroll (St. John's, NL). Pederson lost 7-1 to Mike Fitzgerald (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
