Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK) won 8-5 over Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Saville Shootout, held September 6 - 9, 2024 at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, McEwen won 7-4 over Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2024 Saville Shootout in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-5 over Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Saville Shootout in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
 
McEwen finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McEwen defeated Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) 7-1, then won 6-1 against Steve Laycock (Swift Current, SK) and 7-1 against Brent Pierce (New Westminister, BC). McEwen won 8-1 against Jacob Libbus (Black Diamond, AB). McEwen went on to lose 9-8 against McDonald in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Saville Shootout Championship title, McEwen earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 6 of the event schedule, McEwen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McEwen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
