Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) qualified for the 2024 Saville Shootout playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-7 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2024 Saville Shootout in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Morozumi finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morozumi lost 9-4 to Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB) where Morozumi responded with a 7-3 win over Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA). Morozumi won 9-3 against Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB), then won 7-2 against Jacob Libbus (Black Diamond, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Morozumi earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Saville Shootout. For week 6 of the event schedule, Morozumi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Morozumi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
