In their opening game, Mulima lost 8-6 to Jayden King (London, ON), droppimg another game, 5-4 to Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) where Mulima responded with a 10-2 win over Jacob Libbus (Black Diamond, AB). Mulima went on to lose 7-3 against Nathan Young (St.John's, NL). Mulima responded with a 10-6 win over Bradley Moser (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Mulima earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 5 of the event schedule, Mulima did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mulima ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
