Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) finished 5-4 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yildiz lost 10-6 to Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR), droppimg another game, 11-7 to Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) where Yildiz responded with a 12-4 win over Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU). Yildiz won 12-2 against Vera Kalocsai-van Dorp (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.
