Kaldvee/Lill finished 5-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaldvee/Lill defeated Nancy Martin/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon , SK) 8-3, then went on to lose 7-5 against Chiaki Matsumura/Yasumasa Tanida (Nagano/Hokkaido, JPN). Kaldvee/Lill responded with a 10-1 win over Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON). Kaldvee/Lill won 7-3 against Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC), then won 9-6 against Brittany Tran/Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) and 8-0 against Andra Todd/Kyle Cherpin (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Calgary Championship title, Kaldvee/Lill earned 41.250 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 8 of the event schedule, Kaldvee/Lill did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kaldvee/Lill ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
