Walker/Muyres finished 4-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker/Muyres lost 8-6 to Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS), then responded with a 8-7 win over Tori Koana/Go Aoki (Yamanasshi, JPN). Walker/Muyres won 7-5 against Rachel Brown/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Walker/Muyres went on to lose 7-6 against Perret/Rios.
