Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK) finished 3-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Just/Cherpin defeated Rhea Teranishi/Mike Siwicki (Winnipeg, MB) 8-7, then won 8-7 against Kirstin Nickel/Gabriel Nickel (Hudson, WI). Just/Cherpin went on to lose 8-1 against Tori Koana/Go Aoki (Yamanasshi, JPN). Just/Cherpin lost 8-3 to Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) where Just/Cherpin responded with a 11-10 win over Robyn Henry/Rob Gordon (Winnipeg, MB). Just/Cherpin went on to lose 8-4 against Randine Baker/Tanner Lott (Selkirk, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Cherpin earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Just/Cherpin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Just/Cherpin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
