Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) won 8-7 over Yu Han/Zhi Yu Wang (BEIJING, CHN) in the Final of the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Saskatchewan, held November 14 - 17, 2024 at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre in Moose Jaw, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gill/Hewitt won 6-2 over Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Saskatchewan in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 9-5 over Ying Yang/Jiafeng Tian (Beijing, CHN) in the quarterfinals.
Gill/Hewitt finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gill/Hewitt defeated Roxie Trembath/Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) 9-1, then won 7-2 against Jaime Smith-Windsor/Robin Shillington (Regina, SK) and 7-4 against Brett Barber/Mitch Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). Gill/Hewitt won 8-2 against Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI), then won 9-6 against Han/Wang in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mixed Doubles Super Series - Saskatchewan Championship title, Gill/Hewitt earned 30.000 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 16 of the event schedule, Gill/Hewitt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gill/Hewitt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
