Rachel Homan/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) won 8-1 over Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Unionville, ON) in the Final of the Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier, held November 21 - 24, 2024 at the Guelph Curling Club in Guelph, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Homan/Bottcher won 9-4 over Laura Neil/Scott McDonald (St. Thomas, ON) in the semifinals of the 2024 Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier in Guelph, Ontario, Canada; and won 9-2 over Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK) in the quarterfinals.

Homan/Bottcher finished 3-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan/Bottcher defeated Amelie Maheux/David Maheux (St-Bruno, QC) 8-6, then won 11-4 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 5-3 against Neil/McDonald to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier Championship title, Homan/Bottcher earned 37.500 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Homan/Bottcher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Homan/Bottcher ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
