Just/Cherpin Reaches 2024 Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier Quarters

Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK) qualified for the 2024 Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-2 against Rachel Homan/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB).

Just/Cherpin finished 3-2 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Just/Cherpin lost 9-2 to Amelie Maheux/David Maheux (St-Bruno, QC), droppimg another game, 10-6 to Michelle Butler/Jerry Butler (Cambridge, ON) where Just/Cherpin responded with a 11-3 win over Megan Ford/Daniel Krowchuk (Niagara Falls, ON). Just/Cherpin won 9-2 against Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 8-5 against Terri Weeks/Sam Steep (Waterloo, ON) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Cherpin earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canadian Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier. For week 17 of the event schedule, Just/Cherpin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Just/Cherpin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
