Terri Weeks/Sam Steep (Waterloo, ON) finished 3-3 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Weeks/Steep lost 11-4 to Megan Ford/Daniel Krowchuk (Niagara Falls, ON), then responded with a 14-5 win over Joanne Gill/Ron Gill (Parry Sound, ON). Weeks/Steep won 10-3 against Casandra Spruit/Geoff Spruit (Winchester, ON), then won 7-6 against Laura Neil/Scott McDonald (St. Thomas, ON) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 9-5 against Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB) to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they lost 8-5 to Sherry Just/Kyle Cherpin (Prince Albert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Weeks/Steep earned 5.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Weeks/Steep did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Weeks/Steep ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
