Pohlod/Fenton lost 9-1 to Christie Gamble/Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) where Pohlod/Fenton responded with a 6-2 win over Samantha Yachiw-Omelian/Jordan Raymond (Saskatoon, SK). Pohlod/Fenton went on to lose 6-3 against British Columbia's Ashley Mallett/Nicholas Meister in their final qualifying round match.
