To advance to the championship game, Brown won 9-5 over Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2025 Crestwood Platinum Anniversary Showdown in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-3 over Alena Yurko (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals.
Brown finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Yurko 5-4, then won 8-1 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) and 7-5 against Sturmay. Brown won 9-3 against Michelle Hartwell (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Crestwood Platinum Anniversary Showdown, Brown take home 19.250 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. Brown move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 17.375 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 25th overall with 134.844 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
