Black finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Black lost 7-5 to MacNutt, then responded with a 8-0 win over Jennifer Collier (Halifax, NS). Black won 10-2 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 9-2 against Sarah Mallais (Moncton, NB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
