Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL) finished 1-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hood lost 6-5 to Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN), then responded with a 7-5 win over Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB). Hood went on to lose 8-5 against Takumi Maeda (Tokoro, JPN). Hood lost 7-3 to Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
