Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL) qualified for the 2024 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). of the 2024 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;

Hood finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hood defeated Andrew Dunbar (Edmonton, AB) 5-2, then went on to lose 5-3 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Hood responded with a 7-3 win over Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Hood won 9-3 against Andrew Hodgson (Reddeer , AB), then won 6-4 against Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

Hood earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major. For week 7 of the event schedule, Hood did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hood ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
