Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) lost 5-3 to Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) in the Final of the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major, held September 12 - 15, 2024 at the Beaumont Curling Club in Beaumont, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kalthoff won 6-5 over Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in the semifinals   of the 2024 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; and won 4-3 over Takumi Maeda (Tokoro, JPN) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2024 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; 
 
Kalthoff finished 4-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kalthoff defeated Justin Runciman (Edmonton, AB) 9-3, then won 9-5 against Glenn Venance (Penticton, BC). Kalthoff went on to lose 6-1 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Kalthoff lost 8-7 to Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) where Kalthoff responded with a 7-1 win over Andrew Hodgson (Reddeer , AB). Kalthoff won 7-6 against Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major, Kalthoff take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $4,300CDN prize. For week 7 of the event schedule, Kalthoff did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kalthoff ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
