Tabata finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tabata defeated Claire Booth (Calgary, AB) 10-0, then won 8-4 against Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB). Tabata went on to lose 10-6 against Eun ji Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR). Tabata responded with a 9-1 win over Sturmay in their final qualifying round match.

Tabata earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Women's Major.
