Sturmay responded with a 7-2 win over Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB). Sturmay won 7-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN). Sturmay went on to lose 9-1 against Tabata. Sturmay responded with a 7-5 win over Claire Booth (Calgary, AB). Sturmay won 6-1 against Kaufman in their final qualifying round match.
