Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) run at the 2024 MCT Challenge came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-3 loss to Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2024 MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

McMakin finished 2-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McMakin defeated Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) 8-2, then won 10-2 against Patty Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.

McMakin earned 6.375 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the MCT Challenge. For week 11 of the event schedule, McMakin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McMakin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
