Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-4 over Devon Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Curling Cup, held November 1 - 3, 2024 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, McDonald won 8-0 over Jordan Peters (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 MCT Curling Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and won 7-2 over Randy Neufeld (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.

McDonald finished 2-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McDonald defeated Brad Thompson (Kamloops, BC) 7-0, then won 9-2 against Bryan Preston (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the MCT Curling Cup Championship title, McDonald earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,975CDN first prize cheque. For week 14 of the event schedule, McDonald did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McDonald ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
