Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN) finished 2-3 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rhyme lost 6-5 to Elizabeth Cousins (Nashua, NH), droppimg another game, 7-1 to Zoey Terrick (Winnipeg, MB) where Rhyme responded with a 8-2 win over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB). Rhyme won 7-4 against Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB). Rhyme went on to lose 8-1 against Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Rhyme earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Rhyme did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rhyme ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
