Jones/Laing finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones/Laing defeated Hailey Armstrong/Billy Woods (Ottawa, ON) 6-1, then won 10-1 against Hanna Davis/Steve Davis (MISSISSAUGA, ON). Jones/Laing went on to lose 6-5 against BriAnna Weldon/Sean Franey (Denver, CO). Jones/Laing responded with a 9-2 win over Michelle Butler/Jerry Butler (Cambridge, ON). Jones/Laing won 9-3 against Sarah Bailey/Dylan Sipura (Milton, ON). Jones/Laing went on to lose 0-0 against Neil/McDonald in their final qualifying round match.
