Ashley Thevenot (Saskatoon, SK) won 4-0 over Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Icebreaker Challenge, held August 30 - September 1, 2024 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Thevenot won 7-6 over Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) to advance to the championship game. of the 2024 Icebreaker Challenge in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; of the 2024 Icebreaker Challenge in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Thevenot finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thevenot defeated Skrlik 8-3, then won 8-4 against McMakin and 6-4 against Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN). Thevenot won 7-1 against Bella Hagenbuch (Utica, IL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Icebreaker Challenge Championship title, Thevenot earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN first prize cheque. For week 5 of the event schedule, Thevenot did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thevenot ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
