Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) run at the 2024 Icebreaker Challenge came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Ashley Thevenot (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2024 Icebreaker Challenge in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; McMakin advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-2 win over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2024 Icebreaker Challenge in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;

McMakin finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McMakin defeated Bella Hagenbuch (Utica, IL) 9-1, then went on to lose 8-4 against Thevenot. McMakin responded with a 8-4 win over Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN). McMakin went on to lose 7-4 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

McMakin earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Icebreaker Challenge. For week 5 of the event schedule, McMakin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McMakin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
