Meaghan Mallett/Brendan Jackson (Ottawa, ON) finished 2-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mallett/Jackson defeated Namini Chaudhari/P.N. Raju (Hyderabad, IN) 10-3, then won 7-0 against Gina Kim/Tim Luu (Toronto, ON). Mallett/Jackson went on to lose 9-4 against Melissa Adams/Alex Robichaud (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Dixie Mixed Doubles Cup Presented by Guyana Curling Federation playoffs earned Mallett/Jackson 1.500 world rankings points. For week 9 of the event schedule, Mallett/Jackson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mallett/Jackson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
