In their opening game, Leduc defeated Dominique Jean (Montreal, MTL) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-4 against Jean-Sebastien Roy (Des Collines, QC). Leduc responded with a 10-3 win over Marcelo Mello (Sao Paolo, BRA) in their final qualifying round match.
