Dilsat Yildiz/Bilal Omer Cakir (ANKARA, TUR) lost 5-4 to Emira Abbes/Klaudius Harsch (Fuessen, GER) in the Final of the WCT Mixed Doubles Lodz, held November 7 - 10, 2024 at the Curling Lodz in Lodz, Poland. To advance to the championship game, Yildiz/Cakir won 8-4 over Tiina Suuripaa/Markus Sipila (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in the semifinals of the 2024 WCT Mixed Doubles Lodz in Lodz, Poland; and won 7-5 over Switzerland's Laura Engler/Kevin Wunderlin in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 WCT Mixed Doubles Lodz in Lodz, Poland;

Yildiz/Cakir finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yildiz/Cakir defeated Paulina Hajduk/Jan Horacek (Bratislava, SVK) 7-2, then won 6-3 against Susanna Santti/Iikko Santti (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Yildiz/Cakir went on to lose 9-0 against Abbes/Harsch. Yildiz/Cakir responded with a 9-5 win over Marta Szeliga-Frynia/Maksymillian Szewczyk (Lodz, POL). Yildiz/Cakir won 7-3 against Paulina Frysz/Adam Pasierbek (Lodz, POL) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the WCT Mixed Doubles Lodz, Yildiz/Cakir take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $800CDN prize. For week 15 of the event schedule, Yildiz/Cakir did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Yildiz/Cakir ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
