Jenny Madden (Ottawa, ON) finished 1-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Madden lost 5-4 to Shelley Hardy (Sarnia, ON), droppimg another game, 8-2 to Heather Heggestad (Stroud, ON) where Madden responded with a 7-6 win over Laura Johnston (North Bay, NO). Madden went on to lose 5-2 against Elizabeth Cousins (Nashua, NH) in their final qualifying round match.

Madden earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Madden did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Madden ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
